Johnson City Public Library’s website JCPL.ORG is built on top of WordPress with a few custom plugins. The site has a fair amount of traffic with around 500,000 visits per month! Currently, this is the most trafficked site I have built! In the grand scheme of things, however, this is not a large amount of traffic, so we are only running t3.small EC2 Ubuntu instance. The EC2 instance basically runs PHP since there is no SQL instance running on the Ubuntu server. Our database is running on a server-less architecture using AWS Aurora.
